Land Registry has invited local government representatives to attend our latest Digital Transformation Day (DTD).

10:00 – 15:00, Thursday 20 November 2014

Land Registry Birkenhead Office, Woodside Ferry Approach, Birkenhead, Merseyside CH41 6DU

This free event  aims to explore the latest digital service solutions for citizens. To find out more about the event, Graeme Spinney, Local Authority Relationship Manager and one of the event organisers, outlines what delegates can expect from the day.

Who would benefit from attending?

“Our DTD is aimed at local authority managers from areas including digital, planning, legal, information management, ICT and customer service. There will also be discussions about our Local Land Charges (LLC) proposals as well as the latest digital solutions in local and central government.”

What happens at a DTD?

“At a DTD we run a number of speed sessions with Land Registry experts on topics such as e-services, data solutions and mapping. For Birkenhead there will also be an opportunity to see a demonstration of Land Registry’s system for processing searches of the index map (SIMs).”

What has happened at previous events?

“Land Registry, alongside the Department of Communities and Local Government has run previous events in Leicester, Leeds, London and Nottingham. The interactive workshops and speed sessions generated some interesting conversations and gave opportunities for sharing information, ideas and experiences.”

BOOK YOUR PLACE NOW and help shape how local government and Land Registry work together to improve digital services.
