Property page beta

A couple of months ago, we started the next phase of development for our new digital services. Since then, our Beta teams have been busy progressing those services – including the Property page Beta.

The Property page will be an individual page on every property in England & Wales on GOV.UK. It will allow people to find a property, before viewing related property and HM Land Registry information through our new Digital Register service.

Throughout the project, we’ve been working with Government Digital Service (GDS) and speaking with Ordnance Survey to consider any opportunities that could integrate or enhance our service. You may have heard the recent news about the release of Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) as an open dataset? Although we were planning to launch our Property page Beta at the end of this month, we’ve decided to hold back to allow us to further explore this opportunity with UPRN data.

We’ll continue working with GDS to share our learnings – feeding these back into developing our new services. We’ll also continue to keep you updated on this and all our work to develop new digital services via this blog, so watch this space!
