Former Chief Land Registrar John Pryer remembered

Land Registry has been remembering former Chief Land Registrar John Pryer who has died at the age of 84. Mr Pryer’s term of office from 1983 to 1990 saw the extension of compulsory registration to the whole of England and Wales and the opening of the Land Register to the public.
