Today, you will be able to use some of the new services, enhancements and data we outlined in a blog post last week. Here’s a run-down of what’s new today:

New fees

Today our new Fee Order is now in force. You can find all of the details and our guidance on our fees pages to make sure you pay the correct fee with your applications.

Service updates

We have activated a number of enhancements to our electronic Document Registration Service (e-DRS). These enhancements will enable users of the portal and Business Gateway to submit electronic applications to:

  • register the sale or mortgage of any registered property
  • register and extend leases on any registered property

whether the application affects the whole of the property or part of it.

View a list of the main updates to our website and guides in our e-DRS blog post.

We have also withdrawn the ‘Official Copy by Property Description – postal’ service from the portal information services menu on 17 March. Full details are available in our blog post.

New service

Today we launch Online Owner Verification. This new commercial service will enable Business Gateway customers to verify their property ownership data against Land Registry records. Find out more on the Online Owner Verification webpage.

Keep up to date

We have already made comprehensive updates to our practice guides and reference material on our website, but you can also keep up to date with our changes throughout the day by subscribing to our blog or by following us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+.
